Monday's Class 2-27-12

Today the students worked on a digestive system packet where they had to color and label the entire system.  They then looked up each part of the system and wrote about it's function as part of the system.

2-24-12 Friday's Class

Today the students took their quiz over the Respiratory System.  They also complete a lung diagram that was then placed into their science spirals.

Thursday's Class 2-23-12

Today we watched the Bill Nye video over the respiratory system.  The students took 15 facts from the video and we discussed those after the video.
Tomorrow we have a quiz over the Respiratory system.  The review is one my school website titled "Respiratory System"

Wednesday's Class 2-22-12

Today in class we started and finished notes over the Respiratory System.  They are posted to my school website.  If you click on the link from the previous day you will find them.

We will be having a quiz over the Respiratory System Friday during class.  You can also go to my school website and find a helpful tool to study for that quiz.

Friday's Class 2-17-12

Today the students took their quiz over the Muscular, Skeletal and Circulatory systems.  We graded them during class.

Thursday 2-16-12

Today we finished up our notes over the circulatory system.  I reviewed with the students for the quiz they will be having in class tomorrow.  I also went over the heart diagram with them to make sure it was correct.

Wednesday 2-15-12

I was not here today in class.  I had the students work on 12-3 and 12-4 in their workbook and complete a heart diagram to put into their spiral.

Tuesday's class 2-14-12

Today we graded 12-1 and 12-2 as a class.  After we graded we began notes over the Circulatory system. Here is a link to those notes titles Circulatory: Mr. Reynolds School Website

I informed the students that there would be a quiz over the Skeletal, Muscular, and Circulatory system on Friday.  Check the blog on Thursday night for a preview of that quiz.

Monday 2-13-12

The students worked on 12-1 and 12-2 in their workbook and it will be graded tomorrow at the beginning of class.

Monday's Class 2-6-12

Today we graded 10-2 and 10-3 that was assigned Friday.  I also gave each of the students an organ system they had to research and present tomorrow during class.  Some helpful websites to go to are:

Extra Credit will be given for presentation that are more than just standing at the front of the room.  Ex: PowerPoints, Posters, Visuals of any kind etc.

Friday's Class 2-3-12

I was not in class today.  I had the students working on 10-2 and 10-3 in their workbook.  It will be due Monday and graded in class that day.

Thursday's Class 2-2-12

Today the class watched a Bill Nye episode over the skeletal system.  They were to write down 15 facts about the video while watching it.  After the episode was over I went around the room and each student presented a fact they got from the video.

2-1-12 Wednesday's Class

Today the students took their exams.  I also gave the students that were failing a slip of paper with their average and missing assignments.
