Today i allowed the students to complete test corrections from their test yesterday.  We then went over the material that would be on the mid-term exam.  I went through the powerpoint mentioned on the previous slide and answered all the questions from it.

Today the students and I played a review game for the exam Monday.  We went over every question on the review so the students should have their review completed so they can study.

I was not here today.  I had the students working on a review over "Changes to the Earth's Surface" .  I will be going over this review Friday when I get back.  I will also be posting a look at the answers to the questions posed on the review Friday afternoon on the blog.

The exam over this information will be Monday the 17th of December.

There will be an extra credit opportunity posted Friday afternoon as well so stay tuned.

Today the students finished up their notes and worksheets over glaciers.  I then reviewed the impact of ice and waves on landforms with the students.

Today the students and I went over the vocabulary terms that will be on the vocabulary quiz tomorrow.  We then review weathering and erosion for the upcoming unit over landforms.

Weathering is the breaking down of rocks, soils and minerals as well as artificial materials through contact with the Earth's atmosphere, biota and waters

Erosion is the process by which soil and rock are removed from the Earth's surface by natural processes such as wind or water flow, and then transported and deposited in other locations.
