Exam Thursday

We are having an exam this Thursday over the material: Sun, Earth, and Moon System Review.

Monday January 28, 2013

Today the students and I went over a couple of things.
We first looked at and discussed the apparent movement of the sun across the sky that is illustrated below:
We then discussed: Day length around the world pictured below:

I then handed out two storyboards for the students to fill out, describing first "How the Earth's rotation causes the day/night cycle" and the second one describing and illustrating " The apparent movement of the sun across the sky".
They worked on them during class today and what they did not finish was assigned as homework.
