Today we watched an introductory/ review video or the earth and the moon. It discussed the similarities and differences between the two objects.

I had the students illustrate the five vocabulary terms that are going to be important in their science spirals. those words were revolve, orbit, rotate, axis, and eclipse.
I also gave the students that failed the test or made below a 75 on it a test corrections packet. They need to do the test corrections before next Wednesday. I did not let the students take home the packet since they were a class set but you can get the packet by CLICKING HERE

Today we went took a quiz over the vocabulary and our in class spiral.
We also played a review game over the review for tomorrow's exam.
I passed out a review and the students were to complete it for the exam tomorrow.
I will be in the library tomorrow morning if anyone needs help.

The students have an exam tomorrow over the vocabulary over weather and climate and the warm-ups we have been going over the past couple of weeks.
I wasn't able to get those warm-ups typed but will have my science spiral in the library tomorrow morning for tutorials and you can get any from me then.

Today the students watched "Planet Earth:Fresh water" they answered a worksheet as they watched.
Friday we will be having a test over the vocabulary we started last Thursday and we will also include in that exam warm-ups we have completed over the past couple of weeks.

Today we graded the assessment from yesterday and started on an alternative energy mobile that will be completed tomorrow.
I asked the students to bring in a clothes hanger for the mobiles tomorrow. We will use them and then the students can take them with them next week.

Welcome back to the new semester.
Today the students worked in the computer lab on an alternative energy exploration that detailed the types of alternative energies we will be covering over the next unit.
I decided to take that for a daily participation grade and it should be in the gradebook now.
