Today we took the Weather/Climate and Water Cycle Exam. I will try and have those graded and entered into the gradebook as soon as possible.

Today we played a review game for the upcoming exam tomorrow.

For 10 points extra credit have your parent/guardian sign your completed review on the back page under question 17.

Today the students received the study guide for the exam next Tuesday over the water cycle, weather and climate.

We will be playing a review Monday.

Today the students completed their student made quizzes and exchanged them for their classmates to grade.

Today we went over the notes on climate and Weather.

The students then started on making a student made quiz over weather/climate and the water cycle using their notes and the  textbook.

The quizzes are due tomorrow at the beginning of class.
Requirements for the quizzes:
-Must be 10 questions long
-Have to be either multiple choice, true/false, and fill in the blank
-Must have at least 5 questions that are multiple choice
-Must be neat and legible
-Must have a separate answer key.

Today we finished up the notes from yesterday.  We took a notes quiz and began the digital lesson "How does water move on the Earth's surface".
We will be finishing it up tomorrow and beginning the notes over the difference in weather and climate.

Extra Credit

For a free 100 replacement grade do the following extra credit assignment and turn it in before Friday February 6th.


Write an essay explaining the five alternative energies we discussed in class.  (Biomass, Wind, Hydro power, Solar, and Geothermal)
           - Explain the advantages and disadvantages
           - Explain how each produces or can produce energy we as humans can use
