Today the students took a notes quiz over the inherited traits and learned behaviors video they were supposed to watch and take notes over.

We also did an inherited traits and learned behaviors lab to further learn about what each was.

Today in class we went took a notes quiz over the animal adaptations video the students were supposed to watch and take notes over.

We also went over a handout that detailed some animal adaptations.

Students presented their plant models to the class.  We discussed each model and the good and not so good things about the given plant adaptations and how they could improve them.

Students and I discussed what they should have gotten from their notes over the video.  We then began a mini-project where they are to create a plant with unique adaptations.  They need to watch the animal adaptations video previously posted before next Tuesday.
Here is the rubric for the project:

Where will your plant grow? (Biome)
What adaptations will your plant have?
Grading Rubric
Adaptation for defense/ protection  __________ (20 pts)
Adaptation for acquiring or producing food  __________ (20 pts)
Adaptations for reproducing

Today we went over test corrections in class and then watched a Bill Nye video over plant adaptations and the students wrote all the adaptations they saw from the video.
